How to Receive Christ

In your personal opinion, what do you understand it takes for a person to go to heaven?

Heaven is open to those who have received God’s FORGIVENESS. “In Jesus, we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins”- Ephesians 1:7a.

God’s forgiveness is AVAILABLE for all. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”- John 3:16

Remember it is IMPOSSIBLE for God to allow sin into heaven and each one of us has disappointed our heavenly Father- “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”- Romans 3:23.

We must TURN from our sin & selfishness, and turn to Jesus Christ- “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved”- Romans 10:9.

Then, Jesus has promised we will be with him in HEAVEN for ever and ever. “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you will be also”- John 14:3.

SALVATION PRAYER

Dear Jesus,

I believe that You died on the cross for my sins

and that You rose from the grave.

I now ask You to forgive me of my sins and

to save my soul.
